The Ladies Assisting Sharing and Caring ministry is a special opportunity for the women of Friendly Avenue to reach out to those in need of assistance at a particularly challenging time such as a death, illness or birth of a new baby.

Ministry's Mission:

To serve the church family by:

• Preparing meals
• Providing transportation to doctor appointments
• Helping with child respite care
• Helping with elderly care

Current Ministry Needs: Monthly coordinators and overall coordinator or leader.

Ministry Goals: To serve all of the church family.

Ministry Responsibilities/Tasks: To obtain monthly coordinators each year. The coordinators' responsibilities are to keep in contact with the church secretary and the mid-week announcements, to find out who is in need, to make contact phone calls to ascertain the current need, and then to call the phone list to arrange food or whatever the need is.
